Questions to ask

Private or shared? "Hot tub" on a listing can mean one tub for the whole site.
Wood-fired or electric? Wood-fired tubs feel more rustic but can take a couple of hours or more to heat; ask whether the host lights it before you arrive and whether logs are included.
Is it included? Some sites charge extra for the tub, or for each night you use it.
When can you use it? Some sites set quiet hours or ask that tubs are covered at night.
Is it close to the hut? Check the photos for the walk between the tub and the door, especially in winter.
